Cactus is a new house of grand scale and ‘World-Class’ standard, situated up a private driveway on the an elevated hillside. The pool deck and covered terraces offer a 270 degree panoramic view over both Jolly Harbour and the ocean.

The infinity pool is the largest in the area and enhances breath taking views of the Caribbean. Inside there is over 3000 sq ft of space on two levels. The lounge is large with double height vaulted ceiling, plus wide double doors opening onto each of the decks. The expansive upper area has kitchen, open plan lounge and indoor dining area -all with free high speed 4G wifi access. Downstairs there is parking for 8 cars, utility room & pool showroom.

The four air-conditioned ‘en suite’ bedrooms surround the pool with three looking directly over the ocean. Antigua is regarded as one of the safest Caribbean islands and the Jolly Harbour area more so. However security at the house is enhanced with armoured laminated glass in all windows and doors.

BEDROOMS, BATHROOMS
There are two ‘master’ suites but all four bedrooms are all of considerable size and comprise of two double and two twin rooms – for maximum comfort all mattresses are deep and have thick toppers. If you wish, the single beds can be conjoined to make extra double beds. All the bedrooms in Cactus have individual air-conditioning and also extra ceiling fans. There are fitted closets with more than sufficient hanging and draw space for the whole family. Naturally all bedrooms are ‘ensuite’ with oversized bathrooms, all with triple sized walk in showers and one with an additional full sized tub. Three bedrooms have direct views out over the ocean and both ‘masters’ have large doors opening directly onto the pool deck.

INTERIOR
The substantial kitchen is very modern and lavishly equipped for self catering for up to 8 guests. It opens directly to the upper balcony, so dining can either be around full sized tables inside or out, or alternatively on the adjacent sun terrace where the gas BBQ is situated. There are additional tables on the pool deck. The kitchen has extensive granite work surfaces and is comprehensively filled with top-of-the-range fixtures and fitments. There is a separate utility room downstairs with washing machine and dryer.

Over half the area of Cactus is devoted to ‘al fresco’ living. Step directly out of the kitchen and all meals can be taken under the large covered veranda, which also has perfect ocean views. Alternatively use the adjacent uncovered sun terrace, which also incorporates the outdoor BBQ area. At night you can admire the twinkling lights of the many yachts in the harbour from any of decks. On the middle one there is a generous pool area of over 2000 sq ft with the largest local private infinity pool – again with more stunning views over the Caribbean Sea.

The pool has ‘chromalite’ controls fitted, so at night you programme the illumination of the water to suit your mood. Perhaps choose a relaxing ‘cool’ deep blue or exercise in crystal white, admire fluorescent green or maybe turn on racy red for those midnight swim parties. Alternatively have all colours pulsating in ‘disco’ mode for the children. The colourful garden is stocked with many flowering plants, cactus’s surrounded by palms, plus the lowest level has private car parking for another 8 cars. The property also enjoys significant security, solar water heating, plus it’s own backup generator and water supplies.
